This was a draping assignment, where we used different materials like muslin, paper, and cellophane to drape abstract shapes on mannequins. Then we took pictures and altered the shapes in photoshop, and created digital garments using our drapes.
In my collection, I pose a question. When the aristocratic fox hunters of the 19th century left their wives to hunt, what did the wealthy women busy themselves with? I answer with - a fox hunt pageant. These upper crust women must have held parties and used their wealth to outdress each other with the most extravagant of garments.
